Good news, everyone!

I made partner! youtube has approved me to become a partner so I can start making money by just doing my videos!

...Of course there is bad news, though. I've read their agreement thing and it says you're not allowed to post video's of any games that you don't have permission to do so. I'm not sure why they'd approve me, considering all of my videos are about games. Sooo...I'm not sure about that.

I know seananners is a partner(or atleast I heard) and all of his videos are about games too, so I'm simply not sure whats the deal with that. If anyone knows anything let me know, I would appreciate it.

  1. Best thing would be to write an email to mojang and ask them. if they say yes, you can send the copy to youtube and prove, that you´re allowed to do it officially.

  3. Yes, just email Mojang, and send a copy to Youtube, and that should be perfectly fine then.

  4. Alright, I sent a message to notch...though I doubt I'm going to get a reply anytime soon. I'm not even sure he'll get it. I wish there was a faster or better way to contact him.

  5. I think they might be saying if you didn't pay for it, your not allowed to post it up... cause if you payed for it, you have rights to the copy that you payed for. I think that might be what they meant

  6. OH! That makes sense, then. So if I was playing like a free flash game or something then I'd need permission(or if I pirated)

Thanks, you've been helping tons mark, lol.

  8. "not allowed to post video's of any games that you don't have permission to do so."

This is to prevent people from leaking videos from closed betas/alphas. I don't think that's problem for Minecraft.
