Problems with fraps again...

Bad news, having problems with fraps AGAIN after recording another "Lets Play" video..No idea why it messed up but it looks like everyone may have to wait for a "Lets play" series till I can get this to work, or find a way around it....

Luckly, one of my viewers were nice enough to suggest "Audacity" to record my voice as I record the video and then just match the two together(Thanks mark for the suggestion) but the problem is I don't have an editor to do it with, any suggestions?

  1. What do you render your videos with, also, what operating system do you use?

  3. When you put videos into an editor, at the end you render them in order to make them look better and have everything come together and run smoother, as for a good editor, I believe Windows Movie Maker is free and works on XP, what you do is you put the video from FRAPS on a video bar and the sound file from audacity on a sound bar, click render, open it up in media player to double check it, then upload it to youtube. I am making assumptions here on the editor as I personally use a Mac/Linux combo

  4. I don't really use any editor besides the youtube one, and that one I just just to trim video's if the ending isn't right or something. Also I tried Windows movie maker and it doesn't work that well.

  5. Well, if FRAPS doesn't record audio correctly, I cannot think of any other way to piece the two together...

  7. record the audio in audacity, and record the video in fraps.
